This year these Greenes decided to celebrate the green-wearing holiday at home. Still I thought I’d share a little of it with all of you:

Irish Mint Milk in a glass bottle from the dairy down the street: tastes just like a shamrock shake but way less calories-it also made from some great lattes this weekend.

All prepped for the crock pot
Veggies all prepped for the crock pot-can you guess what’s for dinner?
Homemade corn beef, cabbage/potatoes, and irish soda bread
Homemade corn beef, cabbage and potatoes, and fresh baked irish soda bread= yummy!
A very Irish dinner complete with Luke's Irish red ale (I had hard cider).
An Irish dinner isn’t complete without a good red ale (for Luke, I had hard cider).

Hoping everyone has a great St. Patrick’s Day !

What are your plans to celebrate?

  1. Can we come to your house for St. Patrick’s Day dinner? Homemade Irish soda bread
sounds yummy! Happy St. Paddy’s Day to you and Luke!

  2. I’d like to come to their house for ANY dinner. You certainly have some creative ideas. Not only does the food look tasty, but it is well presented. For a fleeting moment, as I read this blog, I thought, “I hope John is not reading this.” He loves corn beef and cabbage on St. Patrick’s Day. We had leftover roasted chicken instead. Hmmm….
